ZAGREB, May 28 (Hina) - The Croatian National Parliament's House of Representatives on Friday sent the bill on the privatisation of the Croatian Telecommunications (HT) into the second reading. The decision was supported by 63 MPs,
whereas 28 voted against. The Lower House also sent into the second reading a draft strategy of energy development, and six bills regulating the system of protection of intellectual property. The House of Representatives adopted a Law on changes to the Law on Legal Proceedings, proposed by Vladimir Seks of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). The MPs also adopted two bills pronouncing the northern part of Mt Velebit a national park, and Zumberak and Samoborsko Gorje nature parks. Closing today's session, Parliament President Vlatko Pavletic offered the MPs his best wishes for Statehood Day. The House of Representatives is to reconvene for its 41st session on June 9.
