ZAGREB, May 21 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament House of Representatives on Friday continued Wednesday's session with a discussion on a bill on fire-fighting and a draft energy development strategy for Croatia by the year 2030. The
bill on fire-fighting envisages decentralisation and stimulation of organising volunteer firefighters in Croatia, which was supported by all party benches, stressing funds must be set ensured for the implementation of the bill. The most important provisions of the energy development strategy were displayed by Economy minister Nenad Porges. These are a better and safer supply to the consumer, an increase in energy efficiency, a gradual reaching of a real price of fuel, the development of the energy supply market, the procurement of fuels from several sides, strategic support of the gas supply system and recyclable and ecologically friendly sources of energy, Porges said.(hina)
