SPLIT SPLIT, May 27 (Hina) - The Split criminal police on Thursday discovered a group of organised criminals from the central Bosnian town of Zenica, suspected of major burglaries committed in Split-Dalmatia County, southern Croatia.
Suspects A.H., 26, and J.H., 21, were arrested, while V.J., 27, N.P., 26, are on the run. According to the police, A.H and J.H. were caught while robbing a store in Trogir on May 20. According to an investigation, the group has been in Croatia since 1998, using forged Croatian passports, and was breaking in high-fashion stores in Split, Trogir and Sibenik, stole goods worth US$170,000 which later they sold in Sarajevo or Zenica.
