PODGORICA, May 20 (Hina) - The Yugoslav military court in Podgorica on Thursday extended Croatian reporter Antun Masle's detention which could last until August 20 of this year, Masle's attorney Ranko Vukotic, told Hina. Masle, a
reporter for the Croatian Globus weekly, was apprehended by Yugoslav military authorities in Montenegro last month, while he was covering the refugee crisis story in Albania and Montenegro. The military judge said an investigation into Masle had not finished, thus his detention should be extended. By freeing him, Masle could "run away, influence witnesses or repeat his crime," the judge said. Masle has been accused of espionage.(hina) lml
