ZAGREB, May 24 (Hina) - The leading Croatian dairy industry, 'Lura' group, made a profit of US$7.6 million in 1998, which is 49 percent less than the year before, the 'Lura' group management reported on Monday. Key indicators have
demonstrated an appropriate increase in relation to the year before - the purchase of milk increased by 16 percent, the production and sale of own products by five percent. Last year's entire earnings reached US$200 million, which is two percent less that in 1997, which is the result of changes in the structure of Lura's sale and the illiquidity of stores, the Lura management reported. Lura's export increased by 34 percent. Most of the export was realised on the markets of former Yugoslav states, especially in Bosnia-Herzegovina.(hina) it jn/ha.
