ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - The former president of the international Jewish organisation B'nai B'rith, Tommy Baer, arrived in Zagreb on Sunday to attend the trial of former Jasenovac concentration camp commander during World War II, Dinko Sakic, who is standing accused of war crimes against civilians. I arrived in Zagreb with a witness from Israel, Zdenko Schwartz, Baer told Hina. Baer also attended the beginning of the trial, at the invitation of Croatian President Franjo Tudjman to observe the course of the trial. We are carefully following the course of the trial and we have been very satisfied so far, Baer said, adding he held the testimonies of witnesses hitherto, especially the testimony of Josip Erlich from Yugoslavia, provide sufficient evidence to support Sakic's guild. During his stay in Zagreb Baer will hold talks with Justice Minister Zvonimir Separov'pic and US Ambassador to Croatia William Montgomery.(hina
