WASHINGTON, May 18 (Hina) - Croatian Ambassador to the United States Miomir Zuzul and World Bank president Johannes Linn on Tuesday met in Washington and agreed the World Bank will revise its analysis of the financial and economic
justifiability of Croatia's Zagreb-Gorican highway project. Croatia expects World Bank guarantees for a loan which will finance the building of the highway. After revising its project justifiability study, the bank will consult with Croatian experts and make a final decision on supporting the project. Zuzul and Linn also tackled the World Bank's overall activities in Croatia, and Linn's upcoming visit to Croatia. The delegation Linn will head will attend a June conference in the southern Croatian port of Dubrovnik organised by the Croatian National Bank.
