ZAGREB, May 13 (Hina) - Croatian Presidential Chief-of-Staff Ivica Kostovic on Thursday received the German State Minister at the Foreign Ministry, Guenter Verheugen, the Croatian President's Office reported. The two officials held
talks on bilateral cooperation, relations between Croatia and the European Union, and the initiative for stability in south-eastern Europe. Very successful relations between the two countries should be continued by an even more intense political dialogue, the two officials stressed. Kostovic expressed hope that the European Union, under Germany's chairmanship, would positively evaluate democratic achievements of Croatian policy, the stability level in the Croatian Danube River Region and Croatia's contribution to the peace process in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
