BUDAPEST, May 7 (Hina) - Croatia signed three Council of Europe conventions in Budapest on Friday, referring to transborder cooperation, transborder television, and biomedicine. Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic signed the
European Convention on Transborder Cooperation, which refers to cooperation among local government units in border areas; the European Convention on Transborder Television; and the Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine, and the accompanying protocol on the prohibition of cloning human beings. Minister Granic on Thursday attended the Budapest session on the occasion of the 50th Council of Europe anniversary, while on Friday he is attending the 104th Council of Ministers session.
