PODGORICA PODGORICA, May 6 (Hina) - President of the Croatian Journalists' Society, Jagoda Vukusic, and attorney Vesna Alaburic visited Podgorica on Wednesday and Thursday to gather information about the arrest of Croatian reporter
Antun Masle. Masle was arrested by Yugoslav forces while passing from Albania into Yugoslavia while covering the story about the Kosovo crisis for the "Globus" weekly. He has been charged with revealing a military secret and spying. Montenegro's news agency Montena-Fax said Thursday Vukusic had been informed that Montenegrin authorities would do everything in their power to have Masle freed as soon as possible. Vukusic was also told Masle was treated correctly, but a request to expand the inquiry had been filed, demanding the hearing of witnesses, reporters whose articles Masle had used in his reports. Whether the judge decides to accept the motion remains to be seen.(hina) lml
