VUKOVAR VUKOVAR, April 28 (Hina) - Members of the Vukovar City Council on Wednesday unanimously voted on proclaiming president of the National trust Establishing Committee Vesna Skare-Ozbolt, vice president of the Croatian National
Sabor Vladimir Seks, and a former vice president of the National Trust Establishing Committee, current director of the Croatian Radio Television Ivica Vrkic, honorary citizens of the eastern Croatian Town of Vukovar. Skare-Ozbolt, Seks, and Vrkic were announced honorary citizens for their contributions in the process of peaceful reintegration and creating an independent, democratic, and internationally recognised Republic of Croatia, and the city of Vukovar. Wednesday unanimously voted on proclaiming president of the
National trust Establishing Committee Vesna Skare-Ozbolt, vice
president of the Croatian National Sabor Vladimir Seks, and a
former vice president of the National Trust Establishing
Committee, current director of the Croatian Radio Television Ivica
Vrkic, honorary citizens of the eastern Croatian Town of Vukovar.
Skare-Ozbolt, Seks, and Vrkic were announced honorary citizens for
their contributions in the process of peaceful reintegration and
creating an independent, democratic, and internationally
recognised Republic of Croatia, and the city of Vukovar.
At the last City Council session, held on April 15, members of the
Council announced Croatian President Franjo Tudjman an honorary
citizen of Vukovar.
President Tudjman and the three newly announced honorary citizens
should be presented with the charters at the City Council session on
May 3, the feast of St. Philip and Jacob, the town's patron saints.
