ZAGREB ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - The leader of the Union of Croatian Railways Engine Drivers, Ivan Tolic, was beaten up by two unidentified persons at 8.30 pm on Monday in front of his apartment in Zagreb. The perpetrators had waited
for Tolic in front of the elevator on the second floor of his building. After he got out of the elevator, Tolic was approached by the two men, who attacked him with iron bars. After they left, Tolic managed to get to his apartment, from where he phoned the police and ambulance, and was later taken to hospital. Tolic was examined and it was established that his nose was broken, and his face, arms, shoulders and back swollen from the blows. After he was given medical help, Tolic was released.(hina) jn rml
