OSIJEK, April 16 (Hina) - The Hungarian minority education and cultural centre, the construction of which is being completed in the eastern Croatian town of Osijek, will be opened in the first half of May. This was announced at a
meeting between Croatian Education Minister Bozidar Pugelnik and Osijek-Baranja County prefect Branimir Glavas in Osijek on Friday. According to Pugelnik, the main works have been completed and the facilities are being equipped. The Government will invest into this about US$4.3 million. The cultural centre will include elementary and high school education premises, a gymnasium and pre-school, as well as facilities for other cultural activities and publishing.
