PODGORICA, April 16 (Hina) - A representative of the Montenegrin Government said on Friday there were currently more than 100,000 displaced persons and refugees in Montenegro, which make up 16 per cent of the country's population.
About 83,000 refugees arrived from Kosovo, of which 10,000 have left for third countries, mostly to Albania. Kosovar refugees continue to arrive in Montenegro on a daily basis, although in lesser numbers, Montenegrin commissioner for refugees, Djordje Scepanovic told the Montenegrin Montena-fax news agency.(hina) lml jn
