ZAGREB, April 13 (Hina) - Two of the four people the Italian authorities deported to Croatia on Monday, believing they were Croatian citizens, will be returned to Italy. Yesterday evening, four people, arrested in Italy because they
had reportedly committed a robbery, were deported from Rome to Zagreb on plane by the Italian authorities, the Interior Ministry's public relations office said in a statement on Tuesday. Although the Italian authorities claimed that the arrested were Croatian citizens, it was later established that three of them were Yugoslav citizens who used lost or stolen Croatian passports, while only one of them was a Croatian citizen. Zagreb airport police kept the three Yugoslav citizens at the airport's transit section, while the Croatian citizen was taken to a Zagreb police station.
