SARAJEVO, April 1 (Hina) - As of April 1, the Bosnia-Herzegovina currency convertible mark (KM) can be exchanged in Austrian, Swiss and German banks, spokesmen of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) Simon Haselock said in
Sarajevo on Thursday. He recalled that the Central Bank of Bosnia-Herzegovina had previously signed an agreement regarding this issue with respectable banks in the three countries. By this agreement, the Bank Austria, the Raiffeisen Bank, the Dresdner Bank, and the Credit Suisse shall exchange the BH currency in proportion 1:1 to German mark. A daily exchange limit amounts to DM2,000 for the time being. In Austria, KM can be exchanged in Vienna, Graz, and Salzburg, in Germany, the BH currency can be exchanged in all Dresdner Bank offices, while in Switzerland, KM can be exchanged in Geneva and Zurich.(hina) it/rml
