DUBROVNIK, April 11 (Hina) - Croatian Interior Minister Ivan Penic visited the southernmost Croatian municipality of Konavle, near Dubrovnik, on Sunday, and expressed satisfaction with the security situation on the state border with
the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, that is, Montenegro. During his working visit to the Dubrovnik-Neretva Canton, Penic said the situation was completely normal, good and peaceful, considering the events in FR Yugoslavia. "As minister in the Croatian Government, I can say that it is in the
interest of the Republic of Croatia that tourism from the
southernmost point in Konavle to Umag (in the northern Adriatic) is
this year close to or at the same level as it was last year," Penic

He added no events could happen in the area which could be a
hindrance.
