ROME, April 11 (Hina) - Croatian psychologists went to Tirana, at the request of UNICEF, to train Albanian volunteers how to treat children refugees from Kosovo. According to the Italian "Corriere della Sera", psychologists of Zagreb
University, who had worked in Bosnia to alleviate mental problems of people suffering in the war, arrived in Tirana in September. Croatian professors taught Albanian teachers and other volunteers who are now at the first line to offer immediate aid to children deported from Kosovo. About fifty (50) percent of about 300,000 deportees, are children under the age of 16. The problem is huge, since in case these children do not receive necessary psychological help now, they may become not only psychologically unstable persons but also dangerous for their environment.
