ZAGREB, Apr 9 (Hina) - Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa on Friday gave a statement to Hina with regard to the irrevocable resignation of Milan Ramljak to the offices of deputy prime minister and minister of justice. Matesa said
Ramljak's resignation was a sad fact for all colleagues in government, and that Ramljak had himself spoken about the reasons behind his resignation. "As part of discussions about a government reshuffle, about the organisation of certain ministries, about the number of deputy premiers (...) the views of the majority and the views of Minister Ramljak differed," Matesa told Hina. Ramljak saw that as reason for resigning, the Premier said, adding he himself did "not like" Ramljak's decision. "I have a very high opinion of Minister Ramljak, our cooperation was good, I think he can confirm so himself, but unfortunately, that's the way it goes in politics," Matesa said.(hina) ha lml
