said on Tuesday. Road border crossings Ilok-Backa Palanka and Erdut-Bogojevo and railroad crossing Erdut-Bogojevo have been closed, the statement said. Traffic on the border crossings has been halted due to security reasons, the protection of lives and property of the citizens of Croatia and foreign visitors. To cross the state border, other border crossings with Yugoslavia have been opened. The public relations office reiterated a recommendation by the foreign and interior Ministries to Croatian citizens that they should avoid trips to Yugoslavia for security reasons.(hina) lml jn
