WASHINGTON, March 30 (Hina) - The United States on Tuesday expressed deep regret over and condemned the assassination of Jozo Leutar, Deputy Interior Minister of the Croat-Muslim Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The State Department
issued a statement describing Leutar's assassination as mindless and cowardly violence, and promising the United States would continue cooperating with investigators in Bosnia-Herzegovina so that the perpetrators could be discovered and punished. The United States is determined to cooperate with all sides in order to answer to the problem of criminal acts in the country, the statement said, adding efforts would be redoubled to discover and punish those responsible for violence against Croats in the Central Bosnia Canton.
