TOMISLAVGRAD, March 29 (Hina) - Several thousand Bosnian Croats on Monday staged a rally in Tomislavgrad, southern Bosnia-Herzegovina, protesting against the unequal position of Bosnian Croats in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Herzeg-Bosnia Canton Prefect Ivan Ivic told the rally the assassination of Federation Deputy Interior Minister Jozo Leutar had caused the heightening of dissatisfaction of the Croat people living in the Federation. "We don't want a centralised state in which Croats will be deprived of their rights, in which they will be threatened and killed, but a state in which they would be able to live without fear and in dignity", Ivic said.
