ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - The Association of the Croatian Homeland War Veterans (UHVDR) began its electoral convention in Zagreb on Saturday. One hundred and sixty two (162) deputies from all over Croatia are taking part in the
convention. They represent 125,000 members of the association, which means about 60 percent of veterans gathered in the association's 500 branches, said the UHVDR president, General Djuro Decak. The convention's participants should elect a new leadership of the association and prepare plans for the coming four years. Present at the Zagreb event are Croatian President Franjo Tudjman's envoy, General Ante Gotovina, a vice-chairman of the Sabor, Jadranka Kosor, other senior officials and guests from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia and the United States.(hina) ms
