ZAGREB, March 3 (Hina) - Croatia on Monday signed the Convention on temporary import which will facilitate customs procedures for goods in transit, the Croatian Mission at the UN said in a statement on Wednesday. The convention also
regulates customs procedures for goods imported for final phases in manufacture. The ratification of the convention dating from 1990 in Istanbul will facilitate formalities in international traffic. Croatia thus stresses the importance of joining global economic trends and the necessity of adopting the legal framework whose aim is to facilitate international traffic in goods, the statement said.
