ZAGREB, Mar 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Ambassador to The Hague Jaksa Muljacic on Wednesday met at his request the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague, Louise Arbour.
According to a statement from the Croatian Foreign Ministry, Muljacic requested explanations with regard to the authenticity of information published in a New York Times article on the alleged indictment against three Croatian generals. Arbour confirmed an investigation was conducted, but pointed out the allegations made in the article were not the standpoints of her Office. Arbour declined to give any concrete answers to Muljacic's question on further intentions of the ICTY Prosecutor's Office.(hina) ha
