CROATIA WILL CLEAR UP ISSUE OF INDICTMENTS AGAINST GENERALS -

GENEVA, March 23 (Hina) - Croatia is familiar with the fact that the International Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague is investigating Croatian military and police operations "Storm" and "Flash", and the most recent allegations concerning the issue will be cleared up with the Tribunal's chief prosecutor, Louis Arbour, Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic said in Geneva on Tuesday. "We are aware of the fact that certain investigations are ongoing. but we have yet received no confirmation about indictments being issued against Croatian Generals," Granic said. Asked what Croatia intended to do regarding newest articles in the press about the imminent issuing of indictments against some Croatian generals, Granic said "We will clear up these articles in direct talks with prosecutor Arbour".
