PARIS PARIS, March 15 (Hina) - The governor of the Council of Europe's fund for social development, Raphael Alomar, and Croatia's Ambassador to the Council of Europe, Vladimir Matek, on Monday signed an agreement on drawing the first
instalments of a loan granted by the fund last year for the reconstruction of schools and health infrastructure in the Croatian Danube River region. The first instalment for the reconstruction of schools amounts to US$2,410,000, while the instalment for the reconstruction of health infrastructure amounts to US$5,075,000. Alomar and Matek today also discussed preparations for a visit by Alomar and a group of the fund's experts to Croatia. The purpose of the visit is for the two sides to better acquaint with each other and discuss further cooperation.(hina) rml
