ZAGREB, March 9 (Hina) - Upon taking up his new office, Croatian Supreme Court President Marijan Ramuscak took a solemn oath before the president of the State Judicial Council, Ante Potrebica, in Zagreb on Tuesday. Ramuscak pledged to
abide by the Constitution and laws and be conscientious and unbiased in performing his duties, while at the same time protecting Croatia's integrity, sovereignty and state structures, as well as human and civil freedoms and rights as envisaged by the Constitution and laws. Ramuscak stressed the need for strengthening the trust of Croatian citizens in judicial authority, adding that special attention had to be paid to solving unresolved court cases and accelerating the work of courts.
