PRISTINA, March 4 (Hina) - The Gnjilane district court sentenced eight Kosovo Albanians from the Gnjilane region to one to four years in prison for "enemy operations" and terrorism. The court acquitted one of the accused, due to the
lack of evidence. Two of them remained in prison, while the other five were released on bail. Most of the sentenced Albanians are political and humanitarian activists. Also present at the trial were representatives of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe's (OSCE) Verification Mission to Kosovo.
