OSIJEK, Feb 25 (Hina) - Five members of the "Sodolovci Group" on Thursday stood trial before the Osijek County Court panel of judges. The group were accused of war crimes against civilians. They have been indicted of participating in
the shelling of Djakovo, Kesinci, Mrzovici, Koritna, Semeljci and Vladislavci from July 1991 to May 1992 as members of the so-called Territorial Defence in the then occupied party of Croatia. Ten people were killed and some twenty wounded in these attacks. Nineteen members of this group were tried in absentia in 1995 and sentenced to prison. The Supreme Court last summer accepted the appeal by attorneys of the "Sodolovci Group" and returned the case to the Osijek County Court.(hina) lml mm
