PRISTINA, March 1 (Hina) - British Ambassador to Yugoslavia, Brian Donelly, on Sunday held talks with representatives of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) headquarters in the village of Ladrovice under the KLA control. The talks were a
part of the efforts of the international diplomacy to support a peace agreement on Kosovo, the Pristina-based Albanian daily "Koha Ditore" said on Monday. The meeting between Donelly and KLA officials was focused also on the disarmament of the KLA fighters, and, according to diplomatic sources, their transformation into Kosovo police forces. A KLA spokesman, Jakup Krasniqi, who was also a member of the ethnic Albanian delegation at the recent peace conference in France, told reporters that KLA representatives asked the international community to help them to establish contacts with the people of Kosovo and explain them the contents of the peace deal.
