ZAGREB, Feb 26 (Hina) - A parliamentary commission of inquiry for examining circumstances in which the plan for the destabilisation of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) was established, also known as "Fox" (Lisica), completed
its work on Friday. Conclusions of their work will be forwarded to the Croatian National Sabor's House of Representatives which will decide whether to endorse them. The commission will assert whether to inform an authorised state body of HSLS President Drazen Budisa's refusal to testify, Commission's President Vladimir Seks said. Budisa received two summons to testify before the commission, but he refused explaining that the commission does not deal with issues the HSLS demanded as a proposer. Besides the "Fox" plan, the commission also investigated circumstances in which a document, later called "Badger" (Jazavac), was established in 1993 by HSLS's official Goran Gran
ZAGREB, Feb 26 (Hina) - A parliamentary commission of inquiry for
examining circumstances in which the plan for the destabilisation
of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) was established, also
known as "Fox" (Lisica), completed its work on Friday.
Conclusions of their work will be forwarded to the Croatian
National Sabor's House of Representatives which will decide
whether to endorse them.
The commission will assert whether to inform an authorised state
body of HSLS President Drazen Budisa's refusal to testify,
Commission's President Vladimir Seks said.
Budisa received two summons to testify before the commission, but
he refused explaining that the commission does not deal with issues
the HSLS demanded as a proposer.
Besides the "Fox" plan, the commission also investigated
circumstances in which a document, later called "Badger"
(Jazavac), was established in 1993 by HSLS's official Goran Granic.
The "Badger" was HSLS's political activity strategy, and it should
have helped the encouragement of the parliamentary crisis and the
Croatian Opposition to take over authority.
