PRISTINA, Feb 28 (Hina) - One Serb police officer was killed and four others wounded in an attack near the village of Gajra, near the Macedonian border, the OSCE Verification Mission reported Sunday. According to the Organisation for
Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Verification Mission in Pristina, conflicts in that part of this Yugoslav province continue, due to which several thousand refugees were headed towards Macedonia, but were stopped by police. UNHCR spokesman in Pristina, Fernando del Mundo, confirmed thousands of people in the Kacanik municipality have left their homes due to conflicts.
