ZADAR, Feb 26 (Hina) - Spouses of the United States Ambassador to Croatia, a British Embassy official and the late Croatian Defence Minister, Lynn Montgomery, Philipa Monckton, and Djurdja Susak, visited the Zadar County on Friday.
They met with director of the Croatian Centre for Mineclearing Damir Gorseta in Skabrnja. Gorseta informed them of the mineclearing process conducted by members of the "Mungos" company in Skabrnja hitherto. Deputy head of the Skabrnja Municipality Mladen Skara told the spouses that six Skabrinja residents had been killed and ten injured in mine detonations. Montgomery, Monckton and Susak visited the graves of victims of Serb aggression at the Skabrinja cemetery. They also visited the "Bastica" farm in the Zadar hinterland, and one returnee family in Skabrnja.
