ZAGREB ZAGREB, Feb 18 (Hina) - A joint Croatian-Yugoslav commission for property and legal issues on Thursday held its twelfth meeting in Zagreb. Representatives of the two countries discussed issues related to compensation for
damaged or destroyed property, and property of legal entities located on the territory of the other state. With regard to the latter, the two sides assessed the evaluation and registration was still in course on both sides, and that representatives of institutions in charge must cooperate more closely to mutual interest. Reports on the implementation of a protocol on organised refugee returns were submitted by the Croatian government's Office for Refugees and Displaced Persons, the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees, and the Montenegrin Commissariat for Missing Persons. With regard to the latter, the two sides assessed the evaluation and

Reports on the implementation of a protocol on organised refugee
returns were submitted by the Croatian government's Office for
Refugees and Displaced Persons, the Serbian Commissariat for
Refugees, and the Montenegrin Commissariat for Missing Persons.
The parties concluded it was necessary to further expedite data
processing for persons who filed return requests.
Representatives of the Croatian Agency for Facilitating Real
Estate Transactions and the Yugoslav Property Protection Service
submitted reports on their work to date and expressed the need for
closer cooperation.
The joint commission for property and legal issues, established in
line with an agreement on the normalisation of Croatian-Yugoslav
relations, will next convene in Belgrade in late March.
