SARAJEVO, Jan 25 (Hina) - The primate of the Catholic Church in Bosnia, Cardinal Vinko Puljic, on Monday demanded from the Government of the Bosnian Federation to protect Catholic Church property in Kakanj and Vares, two central
Bosnian towns. Puljic requested federal Prime Minister Edhem Bicakcic to urge the federal government to take measures to stop unfair proceedings towards Roman-Catholic parish offices in central Bosnia. According to the Catholic News Agency, the "Pilana" firm forwarded a request to the parish priest's office in Kakanj for damage the firm suffered after explosive was planted in the St. Peter and Paul's Church in late July of 1998. "We were incredulous and astonished upon receiving the request", Puljic said in his letter to Bicakcic. Puljic also warned Bicakcic about the systematic destruction of property of the St. Michael's parish priest's office from Vares, as
