ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - The traditional gathering of children whose fathers died during Croatia's Homeland War is taking place in Zagreb from 6 to 8 February. This year's event has been organised by the association of the Homeland War
veterans' widows, assisted by the Croatian Ministry of War Veterans and under the sponsorship of Croatian President Franjo Tudjman. A member of the association, Irena Kovacevic, held a press conference on Saturday to inform the public of the aims of such gatherings. This meeting, that had been organised for the first time in Pozega in 1993, gathers about 600 pre-school and school children from Croatia and the Croat community in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
