ZAGREB, Jan 6 (Hina) - Orthodox believers in Croatia, who celebrate +Christmas according to the Julian calendar, on Wednesday night +celebrated Christmas Eve at the Church of Holy Transfiguration in +Zagreb.+ Following the service,
the gathered were addressed by the head of +the Orthodox church community, Milenko Popovic. + "This year, Christmas will not be celebrated in great joy because +there are many people who will not be able to celebrate it in their +homes, however, we find consolation in the fact that the Lord +himself was born outside of his home and suffered along with other +sufferers, offering them joy, peace, love and salvation".+ Christmas Eve was also celebrated in Osijek.+(hina) rml+

Christmas according to the Julian calendar, on Wednesday night
celebrated Christmas Eve at the Church of Holy Transfiguration in
Zagreb.
Following the service, the gathered were addressed by the head of
the Orthodox church community, Milenko Popovic.
