ZAGREB, Dec 21 (Hina) - Representatives of the Amnesty International Croatia on Thursday held talks with officials of the Croatian Foreign Ministry, headed by Assistant Minister Vladimir Matek, the Amnesty International said in a
statement. During the talks, the officials exchanged information on their activities. The Foreign Ministry is doing everything in its power to accommodate this non-governmental organisation, Matek told Hina after the talks adding the Amnesty International definitely played a positive role on the international plan. The topics of the meeting were: the Amnesty International campaign against torture, the Croatian authorities standpoint on the passing of an additional protocol to the United Nations Convention Against Torture and other cruel, inhuman and humiliating activities or punishments, the issue of the ratification of the Additional Protocol on the Women's Convention and the
