BRUSSELS, Dec 15 (Hina) - A meeting of foreign ministers of countries of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC) started in NATO headquarters in Brussels Friday morning by an introduction speech of NATO Secretary General George
Robertson. A Croatian delegation at the meeting of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council, which gathers 19 NATO member-countries and 26 partnership for Peace countries, is headed by Foreign Minister Tonino Picula. According to NATO, the meeting will focus on the strengthening of the security and stability in the Euro-Atlantic region via regional cooperation. The present will also discuss the development of the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the southern Yugoslav province of Kosovo. In his speech, the Croatian Foreign Minister is expected to point to the need for the final solving of the Prevlaka issue and the prevention of illegal migrations. (hina)
