ZAGREB, Dec 14 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula will visit Brussels on Friday to participate in a meeting of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council which gathers 19 NATO member countries and 26 countries included in the
Partnership for Peace programme. According to NATO, the meeting will focus on the strengthening of security in the Euro-Atlantic region via regional cooperation. After an introduction speech by NATO Secretary General George Robertson, the meeting will be continued behind closed doors by a report of the High Representative for Bosnia-Herzegovina, Wolfgang Petritsch, on the security situation in the country and the region. The informal part of the meeting will tackle the consequences of the changes in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and their impact on the situation in the region.
