OSIJEK, Dec 15 (Hina) - Croatia took over the chairmanship of the Euroregional Co-operation Danube-Drava-Sava from Hungary on Friday, the Chamber of Commerce of the eastern town of Osijek reported. According to the same source, the
head of the Osijek County Chamber of Commerce Zoran Kovacevic took over the two-year presidency from the prefect of Hungary's Baranya County, Ferenc Kekes, at a ceremony in the Hungarian town of Pecs. The association was joined today by new members: Hungary's Somogy County, Croatia's Koprivnica-Krizevci, Virovitica-Podravina and Pozega-Slavonski Brod counties. Bosnia-Herzegovina's northern Brcko district and Posavina Canton will join the association as well. The association was established in 1998 by nine original signatories from Hungary, Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina with the aim of widening the economic, cultural, educational and scientific cooperation of integrated areas.
