ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament's House of Counties on Tuesday evening endorsed a governments bill on amendments to the law on the State Judicial Council (DSV). The amendments must take place because the Constitutional
Court established that numerous regulations of the law, regarding activities of the DSV, were not in line with the Constitution, Deputy Justice Minister Ranko Marijan said. In accordance with the amendments, the number of DSV member would be reduced from 15 to 11. Seven members would be chosen among the judges, two among lawyers and two among law professors. The Upper House also endorsed Croatian government bills on amendments to the law on courts and their authorities. The House of Counties is to continue its 50th session tomorrow by a discussion on Croatia's international position.(hina) it

on Tuesday evening endorsed a governments bill on amendments to the
law on the State Judicial Council (DSV).
The amendments must take place because the Constitutional Court
established that numerous regulations of the law, regarding
