ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - Next year's draft budget will stay at 49.67 billion kuna ($5.8 billion) but the government will adopt some amendments to the draft, Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac told reporters in parliament on Tuesday. MPs
have moved 488 amendments to the draft, of which about one third will be adopted in some form, he said. Some spending will be cut, but social rights will not in the measure suggested earlier. On the other hand, spending for road construction, for instance towards the southern Adriatic city of Split, will be raised. Crkvenac said a list of counties, towns and municipalities had been drawn up. It will specify who and how much gets from a total of 600 million kuna ($69.77m) earmarked for the local level.
