ZAGREB, Nov 29 (Hina) - There is no signs of 'mad cow disease' in Croatia, the situation is being observed on daily basis and the public will be informed regularly, Croatian Agriculture Minister Bozo Pankretic said Wednesday. Along
with the ban on the import of beef and all beef products from England, Ireland, France, Portugal and Switzerland, which came into force with the appearance of mad cow disease in 1996, today the ban was also imposed on beef products from Germany, the Netherlands and Spain, Minister Pankretic told Wednesday's press conference. He also commented on Croatia's membership in the World Trade Organisation. Croatia's official admission into the WTO will come into force on November 30.
