AHMICI CASE:TWO WITNESSES' IDENTITY AND STATEMENTS DECLARED SECRET

ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - Two former employees with Croatia's defence ministry on Monday testified before an investigating judge in Zagreb in the procedure instigated against suspects in the 1993 war crimes committed in the central Bosnian village of Ahmici. The judge, Zdenko Konjic, proclaimed the identity and testimony of these two men as secret in line with the law on penal procedure. The investigation will resume on Tuesday when another two wittiness should be questioned by the judge. Four Bosnian Croats - Ante Sliskovic, Tomislav Vlajic, Vlado Cosic and Pasko Ljubicic - are charged for war atrocities they allegedly committed against Moslem villagers in Ahmici on 16 April 1993 when 116 civilians were killed and many houses were demolished in the village. They are also indicted of giving false identity. Sliskovic and Vlajic were apprehended in the beginning of September in the Croatian coastal town
