RIJEKA, Nov 9 (Hina) - The Rijeka County State Attorney's Office has no knowledge about the possible extension of criminal proceedings which are being conducted against Tihomir Oreskovic and four other Gospic residents accused of war
crimes against civilians at the Rijeka County Court, Rijeka County State Attorney Drago Marincel told reporters on Thursday. Marincel was commenting on claims made by some media that a retired Croatian general, Mirko Norac, could be the next indictee. Marincel said the County State Attorney's Office could not extend the investigative request independently but only on the basis of criminal charges which were filed by the police.(hina) rml
