ZAGREB HOSTS EU FILM REVIEW NOV. 9-15 ZAGREB, Nov 8 (Hina) - French director Patrice Leconte's "Girl on the Bridge" will open the fourth European Union Film Review at Zagreb's Kinoteka cinema on Nov. 9. The revue, which closes on the
15th, will offer 25 feature and short films from 13 EU countries. The revue has been organised by embassy culture institutes in Croatia, with France heading this year. Zagreb film and the Motovun Film Festival co-organised. A new aspect of this year's revue is the selection of 12 short films, introduced at an initiative by the Motovun Film Festival, which include music videos by Finnish director Aki Kaurismaki. According to the organisers, among the more interesting offerings are the French films "Girl on the Bridge" and "Harry, Your Well-Meaning Friend", which wraps up the revue, Austria's "Northern Suburb", Great Britain's "Rat Catcher", and Italy's "Hard Boiled Egg".
