ZAGREB, Nov 6 (Hina) - Croatian film "Blagajnica Hoce Ici Na More" (cashier woman wants to go to the sea), directed by Dalibor Metanic was voted the best first picture at the 10th international film festival in Germany's Cottbus,
which ended Sunday. Ninety films from 22 countries were shown at the festival between November 1 and 5. Special attention was directed to young authors. The Croatian movie has already proven to be a great success at the Sarajevo film festival, as well as at Holland's film festival, Film by the Sea. Because of irresistible characters, obvious simplicity, colours, humour and originality, we have decided to present the award to the film "Blagajnica Zeli Ici na More", festival's officials said in a statement.
