ZAGREB, Oct 10 (Hina) - Croatian national parliament's head Zlatko Tomcic on Tuesday received Ambassador Gabriel Yves Keller, the head of the European Community monitoring mission for Croatia. The EC official wanted to be informed of
the current work of the Sabor and its plans for future activities. According to a statement, Tomcic informed Keller that the Sabor was working in accordance with programmes of the new Croatian orientation and had already adopted laws on rights of national minorities, reconstruction and on areas of the special state concern. He stressed that it was necessary to have comprehensive and balanced refugee returns but, owing to its current economic situation, Croatia needed the international community's financial assistance for such efforts. Tomcic notified Keller of the course of changes of the country's Constitution. He also spoke of the forthcoming tasks of the Sabor such as discussions

Sabor and its plans for future activities.
According to a statement, Tomcic informed Keller that the Sabor was
working in accordance with programmes of the new Croatian
orientation and had already adopted laws on rights of national
minorities, reconstruction and on areas of the special state
concern.

Tomcic notified Keller of the course of changes of the country's

He also spoke of the forthcoming tasks of the Sabor such as
discussions on draft laws on the revision of the ownership
transformation and privatisation, on interior affairs, the armed
forces and other acts which would help Croatia's efforts to carry
out austerity measures and its bids to come closer to the European
integration processes.
Both Tomcic and Keller expressed satisfaction with the current
cooperation.
